Ocean Tide

You were brought to my side by the ocean tide.
You were drawn to its beauty, as was I.
We walked on the sand, hand to hand.
We talked out the future, plan to plan.
Kept together by our loyalty and our friendship.
Kept apart by our family and their kinship.
Employed for our trust and love for each other.
Employed for our ability to never love another.
Selfishness and pride will be with us forever.
Exposed by jealousy but held in together.
Nothing is perfect in the world this day.
Maybe tomorrow will clear the way.
I have lost you today but not for forever.
I have learned in my life to never say never.

Stranded

I used what I had and nothing less.
Who knew achievement could be such a mess.
With the core of my soul exposed and rotting.
I sit here in the dark with a fire so taunting.
The heat of this flame is cold as ice.
Matched against my desire of your entice.
Thoughts of you flow through my head.
Along with the final words you said.
“ I will love you till the end,“ is what you told me.
Over all land and the deepest, baron sea.
I sit hear tonight not knowing or caring
About what creatures are around me or whose land I’m sharing.
Ill get home to you as soon as I can
Whether my own idea or gods lending hand
Ill be home soon so don’t you worry
I hope you find my words trustworthy.

Impossible, is Possible

Impossible is a word that is used to often.
A word made by man out of frustration.
A word that can’t survive without doubt.
We will rid of this word before time runs out.
This word will parish, but with great resistance.
Getting farther away out in the distance.
Impossible lives only with unknowing belief.
In desperate times it brings gratifying relief.
This word is used during hard-felt times
It’s used like makeup to cover up lies.
This word is used in place of lack in will.
So we’ll keep using it until.
The world takes action or time stands still.
